Dear Brother and Sister Firefighters,
This year the Schuylkill Hose Company #2 of Schuylkill Haven, PA will be hosting the 63rd Annual Schuylkill County Firemen’s Association Convention in Schuylkill Haven, PA.
Events are as followed:
September 10th (Sunday): Church Service held at First United Church of Christ located at 110 Rt. 61 South, Schuylkill Haven PA 17972 (Begins at 6:30 PM, Doors open at 5:30 PM)
September 11th (Monday): Convention Training to be held at the Schuylkill Haven Area High School 625 East Main St, Schuylkill Haven PA 17972 (Registration will be online) beginning at 6:30 PM. 3 hour Combat Ready Program provided by Traditions Training LLC.
September 12th (Tuesday): History and Mug Night to be held at the Schuylkill Hose Company beginning at 6:30 PM. A history presentation on the Schuylkill Hose Co # 2 will be presented by Mike Glore and Mike Kitsock.
September 13th (Wednesday): Schuylkill County Firefighters Association Quarterly Meeting and Dinner. Executive Meeting at 6p.m. Doors Open at 6p.m. Meeting Starts at 7p.m.
September 16th (Saturday): Parade to begin promptly at 1:00 PM.
Inspection of apparatus will be from 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. NO EXCEPTIONS (Please note that companies that are not current with their dues or are not members of the Schuylkill County Firemen’s Association will be judged in the non-Schuylkill County categories). Food, refreshments, and entertainment will be available after the parade at the Island Recreation Park in Schuylkill Haven.
We ask that if you are planning to attend, please pre-register to assist us in having a smooth registration process the day of the parade.
The Schuylkill Hose Company #2 will be selling convention glasses, shirts, and hats. The souvenirs can be purchased at the fire company, at the convention meetings, and at the convention banquet, at parade registration, and at the Island Park after the parade. T
The officers and members of the Schuylkill Hose Company #2, along with all of Schuylkill Haven are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the convention.
